Sony bans PlayStation 4 game that wanted to teach men how to seduce women

Sony has banned the release of Super Seducer on the PlayStation 4 that is aimed at teaching men how to seduce women.
The game was meant to be released on Tuesday (March 6), but BBC News has confirmed that the company has banned the title after saying it “will not be made available”. Last September, Kickstarter had suspended the game’s crowdfunding campaign.

However, Super Seducer has been released for PCs and Macs through Steam and is currently still available.
The game does not feature any nudity, although it does show women in their underwear, and it sees the game’s creator, Richard La Ruina, appear in live-action sequences where players are offered options on what they should do with a woman in different situations and can see the results.

“I did expect a small segment of the population to take issue with it, just like they might with anything related to dating skills for men. [It] has received a lot of negative coverage from people who have never played the game,” La Ruina told BBC News.
“They want to brand it sleazy, sexist, misogynistic, and even ‘rapey’. I found it all very aggressive and not at all helpful. ”
Good Morning Britain viewers may recognise La Ruina after the dating guru appeared on the show last year to discuss his views that British women are ugly, overweight, entitled and not marriage material.
