Author Biography: Ivan Gantschev studied at the Academy of Art in Sofia, Bulgaria. He now lives in Germany. He is perhaps best known for his international best-seller, Santa s Favorite Story. North-South has published three of his picture books Where the Moon Lives, The Christmas Teddy Bear, and Moon Lake as well as a retrospective catalog of his work, The Art of Ivan Gantschev.
